The Pokémon Company International has revealed the latest expansion for the Pokémon Trading Card Game (TCG), titled Scarlet & Violet — Stellar Crown. The new set, scheduled for release on September 13, 2024, promises to bring exciting new features to fans of the Pokémon universe.

Stellar Crown takes players back to the world of Paldea, the setting of the Pokémon Scarlet and Violet games. The expansion highlights the Terastal phenomenon, introducing Stellar Pokémon Tera ex to the TCG. These Pokémon have a special “stellar attack.”

They are named after gemstones and require three different types of energy to use. The collection features new artwork. Additionally, in homage to The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero DLC, the game introduces characters such as Archaludon, Hydrapple and the legendary Terapagos for the first time.
